On Monday, May 26, 2025, the 2nd grade had the pleasure of welcoming Mr. Dimitris Pervizos, producer and seller at the Street Market of vegetables and fruits, as part of the European eTwinning program, in which we participate with the theme: “Our daily bread as a part of cultural heritage, well-being and sustainability“.
Our guest spoke to the children about organic products and the importance of consuming local products, explaining the production methods and their benefits for health and the environment. The children showed great interest and actively participated in the discussion. During the visit, the students had the opportunity to interview the producer, asking questions that they had prepared in advance. Through this experiential experience, they better understood the importance of proper nutrition and supporting local producers.
