We would like to inform you that this year, 2023-2024, our school, with classes A, C1 and responsible teachers Petmeza Domna and Mamouri Agoritsa respectively, is taking part in a European cooperation program of eTwinning schools with the title “The gold of the earth: fruit and vegetables” (“The gold of the earth: fruits and vegetables”).
e Twinning (https://www.etwinning.gr/) is part of the Lifelong Learning program of the European Union, through which schools from various European countries, using Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) tools, collaborate remotely to to reap pedagogical, social and cultural benefits. eTwinning is probably the largest network of teachers and students in the history of education.
Through their participation in European programs the students:
They broaden their horizons and shape their European identity.
They are encouraged to use the foreign language as a communication tool.
They meet students from other countries and learn to accept differences between people of different cultures.
They develop skills in the use of technology tools as well as in groups. The aim of the specific program is for students to get to know the wealth of the earth, fruits and vegetables, but also to get in touch with the goals of environmental sustainability (Agenda 2030-17 sustainable development goals).
