The 1st Plagiari Primary School is located in the Municipal District of Plagiari in the Municipality of Thermi, in the area of Eastern Thessaloniki. It is co-located with the 2nd Primary School of Plagiari and they operate in three (3) independent buildings.
THE OLD BUILDING
The older building consists of two (2) large rooms and a small storage area.
THE CENTRAL BUILDING
The main building of the school consists of eleven (11) classrooms. On the ground floor of the main building, there are five (5) classrooms, a room for the IT course, a room for the integration department, two small storage rooms and two toilets for the students. On the 1st floor there are six (6) classrooms, the teachers’ office, the principal’s and vice-principal’s offices, a toilet for the teachers and a storeroom.
All rooms are equipped with a computer and video projector and have internet access. In each room there are open shelves for each student. The school is equipped with electronic equipment, with physics and mathematics instruments and has the necessary supervisory means for the teaching of all subjects.
In addition, there is an underground space in the main building with a gym, library and IT room which was deemed unsuitable for students and teachers and is currently not in use.
THE NEWEST BUILDING
Finally, the third building, which is also the newest, consists of four (4) classrooms and exclusively houses the 2nd Primary School of Plagiario.
COURTYARD SPACE
The courtyard area is quite large with a basketball court for the students. There is also a small built playhouse in the courtyard area, as well as several trees on a sloping level.
